I wasn't always the person building AI systems for solo founders
I was the marketing strategist teaching other people how to scale, running a business I did every single thing in by hand. Every email, every caption, every client reply, every offer draft. All me. All manual. All the time.

When I decided to upskill in AI, I noticed a massive gap.
Most of the courses and programmes I looked at were covering topics and use cases that, as a solo founder, I was never going to use in my business (like lead scoring systems, proposal automations, and sales call analysers for sales teams). Cool. Very helpful. Thank you. 🙄
I'd been in marketing for years, and I was properly good at it if I do say so myself. The business half was never the problem.
I started implementing AI systems into my own business, and slowly, my business started running differently because I built systems that handled the 80% I shouldn't have been doing in the first place.
My new obsession became teaching solo founders to do the same.
The big businesses had the budgets and the departments. The solo founders have the speed, the taste, and the ability to change their whole offer on a Tuesday. The AI education that fitted the second group existed. It was just buried under everything written for the first. [Enter me stage left
Analeah joined my community, SheScales, having just cancelled her ChatGPT subscription, with no real idea what she was doing with Claude. Inside a month she had multiple Skills talking to her Notion databases and one running every Monday afternoon while she was still at her day job.

Since then, I've handed more than 2,000 solo founders the systems to stop being the human glue between every step of their own business. (The good ones stop asking me what tool to use and start telling me what they're building.)
By the time I sat down at my laptop this morning, my email replies were drafted, yesterday’s sales were sitting in my spreadsheet waiting for me, my ads had been analysed, and I knew which ones to kill and where I needed new creative, and my Instagram content had been analysed and scored with recommendations made for next week.
I was at school drop-off.
There's no team. I can't code. I finish my day at 2:30pm, and everything I build exists to keep it that way.
Six hills I would totally die on today…
I'm not here to inspire you. I'm here to hand you the architecture.
01. A one-woman business can now go toe to toe with a company that has staff.
There's one of you and only so many hours, and everything on the list still has to get done. Hiring used to be the only way to close that gap. It isn't now. AI doesn't replace the founder. It replaces the need for a team, and that's the most level the field has been in my working life.
02. Stop chatting with AI. Give it a job.
The tools you're already paying for can do things that would have needed a team twelve months ago. Nobody has shown you what to build yet, which is a completely different problem from not being able to build it.
03. If you're doing it more than twice, it isn't a task. It's a system you haven't built yet.
Right now you're the human glue between every step. AI writes something, you paste it somewhere, you reformat it, you remember what comes next. One tool doing one job is useful, but a system running an entire function is a different category of thing altogether.
04. Collecting prompts is the new busy work.
It feels productive. It moves nothing. A system compounds; a collection just accumulates. The test I use on everything I build: would I notice if it disappeared tomorrow? If the answer's no, it was a novelty and it goes.
05. Your judgment was always the valuable part. Execution just took up all the room.
Three things stay yours no matter how good the tools get: what you're making, what good looks like, and whether it goes out. Everything between those is execution, and execution is what has been eating your week. Hand it over and the judgment finally gets the space it should have had. You stay the author. You stop being the one typing it out.
06. AI is being decided right now, and women running their own businesses should be in the room.
Every tool shipping this year is shaped by whoever turns up to use it, complain about it, and say what's missing. Sit this one out and it gets built for someone else, and we spend the next decade adapting to it. Learn it, build with it, and be loud about what works and what doesn't.
